Community Groups

The way in which we display our communtiy groups is changing. There was alot of interest in web space to advertise community activities on the previous website. We found that the information was very useful to our visitors and we received many calls and emails asking for more information.

Every year the Your Peterlee team pay around £50 to keep the website up and running. Last year we were fortunate enough to be awarded funding from 'Groundworks Northeast' which enabled us to carry on the hard work.

This year however we have not applied for any funding, instead we have decided to ask you our community groups to donate a small amount annually in-order to have a full page on the Your Peterlee website which you can control and edit yourself when need be.

How will it work?

Joining our Community Groups team could not be simpler. In just 4 simple steps you can be up and running, you can have your very own community group webpage which you can edit and update how you wish.

STEP 1: Contact us if you are interested, would like more information or would like to apply.

STEP 2: If you are happy to be on board simply send a donation of £6.95 or more to Your Peterlee via PayPal - This money will pay for the annual fees of the website and it's maintenance.

STEP 3: When we receive your donation we will issue you with your page along with a username and password which will enable you to edit your page as you wish.

STEP 4: If you get stuck or would like some help to set-up your page then we are always here to give you a helping hand. You could have your own page created without even lifting a finger, how easy could it be.
